La Taquisa is a locally owned, family run business. Sindy is from Guadalajara, Mexico and we use her 100% authentic family recipes. Scott is from Vancouver, BC and is a trained chef with 17 years of experience.
They met in Vancouver, BC in 2001 and have always had a dream of running a restaurant. Together they bring you their best authentic Mexican experience using made from scratch fillings and salsas and fresh pressed to order, gluten free corn tortillas for the tacos

Sindy is from Guadalajara, Mexico and we use her authentic family recipes by her Mother, Aunt and Grandmother. All of our fillings and salsas are made fresh from scratch, and our corn tortillas for the tacos are gluten-free and pressed fresh to order. All of our meats are local, antibiotic and hormone free. We offer lots of gluten free options and are great for families.
